About the Job
Job Descriptions:
- Prepares at least two-week menus and submits them for approval.
- Maintains perpetual inventory of food and non-food stock.
- Rotate food stock according to the date of purchase.
- Label all food in storage, including the date cooked or when opening the container.
- Prepares nutritious meals for Center Point Residential facilities.
- Prepares food for special occasions, including dinners, special functions, and meetings.
- Supervises and trains clients assigned to work in the kitchen.
- Maintains inventory of donated food and non-food items.
- Maintains kitchen cleanly and healthily.
- Interacts with clients and staff in a culturally sensitive manner.
- May perform floor coverage duties.
- Oversees the cleaning of the kitchen, including the operation of the dishwasher.
- Transports clients as needed using Center Point vehicles.
